Data Analyst

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting and analyzing data, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, proficiency in data management tools, and an ability to communicate findings clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Generate and manage reports using various data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.

• Develop and maintain dashboards for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Perform data validation, quality checks, and ensure data integrity.

• Use statistical techniques to analyze data and deliver regular reports to management.

• Present data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.

• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.

• Assist in identifying and implementing new data sources to improve analysis.

• Provide support for ad-hoc analysis requests and projects as needed.

  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases.

• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

• Solid understanding of statistical techniques and data analysis.

• Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, or other data analysis software.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.

• Experience with data warehousing or cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).

• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and data modeling is a plus.
